Moving to the Philippines - Part 2

Moving to the Philippines - Part 2
Looking for an international mover may prove to be quite daunting in light of the fact that there are so many of them to choose from and all of them offering many varied services at differing prices.

Here are some of the considerations one must make in choosing the right mover:
1. Do they have an office in the Philippines – make sure that the mover has an office in the Philippines or an affiliate office at least.
2. Value for money – price must be comparable to the other players in the market and the service to cost ratio must also be affordable.
3. Track record – reliability is also a key factor to think about, so do the research, look into the company's history.
4. Insurance and tracking – items shipped must be insured just in case of loss or breakage, some find it important to be able to track their shipment.
5. Pets – as a part of the family, pets must be moved as well and not all movers have this service so special considerations are due if you need this one.

Depending on the length of stay, budget and amount of stuff being brought from the country of origin, the domicile choice varies greatly from a room for rent to a mansion, priced from a few hundred pesos to millions. A typical small apartment about 10 square feet would cost from 2 thousand to 10 thousand pesos on average. A condo unit or a house for rent with 2 rooms and a bath would be around 3 thousand and up. Whatever the requirements we have a niche ready to fill the need.

Do feel the difference of the hospitality in the Philippines when arriving at the airport, taking a taxi, riding a jeepney, bus, train or any form of public transport, walking in the neighborhood and roaming in public places. A friendly atmosphere is almost always present. The Filipinos of course are one of the happiest people in the world and as such translates to a warm inviting air around them. Despite the hardships of life in the Philippines, Filipinos still manage to smile, with hope in their hearts. Let the best of the Filipino culture and lifestyle touch and transform you when in the Philippines.
